This is a drawing of 3-dimensional shapes with a one point perspective. The media is pencil on paper. The 3d shapes are letters that spell out the word PERSPECTIVE. A skill I learned for this drawing was drawing guidelines using the vanishing point so I would know where to draw my shapes in order for them to look realistic. The main art elements employed in this drawing are lines, value, and shape. The value allows the front faces of the letters to come forward with a darker value than the back. The shape is important because it allowed me to spell a word. The fact that it says perspective is thought provoking because it could either be thought to mean a perspective in life or in just the art piece.
