This is my first bowl of the two bowl project that I made on the wheel. It is roughly the size of the typical cereal bowl with leaves carved around the rim. The outside is white and the inside is shadow green which continues over the rim and onto the leaves. For this project, I learned that when you carve, it's not drawing lines, it's taking out spaces. The repeated leaf texture creates a pattern, which creates a sense of unity through the piece. Also, the green color being continued over the edge adds to that feeling of continuity.
